Similar to the Version 1 board, this new 4-layer board introduces an exciting enhancement. It now accommodates the integration of servo feedback pins or provides easy access to ADC, depending on your intended application. With this Feedback edition, you gain increased freedom and flexibility while still enjoying all the features from the original 2-layer Version 1 board.

Head launching on site this week guys. !! Can't wait to see you guys print and assemble this on his new torso.
Presenting the XR1 OG Smart Head, the official release featuring specialized gear trays for effortless equipment mounting. It offers generous sensor space to house a variety of sensors, with provisions for two full HD cameras equipped with custom lenses, PixelNeo Ear rings, and two HC-SR04 sonar sensors. The kit also includes an extended-reach neck, allowing for a slightly larger head to optimize functionality. Additionally, it provides space for a complete mic array with a hat cap vent for improved hearing, along with two stereo speaker holders.

Here's a revised update on the XR1 OG Head, featuring the inner skull without covers. In this test, the focus is on showcasing the movement and animated motion capabilities using only a servo tester, without the need for any additional code. The strength and precision in repeatability of this head design are evident in the demonstration.

If you're engaged in the development of the XR1, you're likely committed to enhancing its performance continually. The latest MK2 update focuses on reinforcing the core strength and increasing height by 20/30mm, a subtle yet impactful improvement and it also correct arm lengh design. While the MK1 version may suffice if you're content with its performance, opting for the MK2 can unlock additional benefits.
Key enhancements in the MK2 update involve a dual-bearing design in the core, mirroring the impressive shoulder design. This modification ensures smoother operation and bolsters the core's strength, particularly beneficial in scenarios where the robot might encounter falls during walking training. Consider transitioning to the MK2 for an optimized experience, especially if maximizing performance is your goal. The image above shows new and old side by side.
